About Professor StJohn Crean

Professor Crean is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Clinical) at the University of Central Lancashire and a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Blackpool Victoria Hospitals Trust. With extensive experience as a Professor at Queen Mary’s, London School of Medicine & Dentistry, and Cardiff University, his research focuses on oral bacteria in systemic diseases and dental pulp stem cells.

Cancellations/Refunds Policy

The advent of Covid-19 has encouraged us to clarify our cancellation and refund policy so please read and acknowledge that you understand this before booking.

In the event that the course which you have booked is cancelled or postponed by the BSOS due to Covid-19 restrictions we will:

  1. Inform you as soon as possible
  2. Offer you a place on the same course at a later date and retain the fee you have paid
  3. Refund your fee if you are unable to take up your place on the potential dates offered

Travel and hotel cost reimbursement policy

We fully understand that due to the very fluid nature of Covid-19 restrictions, booking travel and accommodation for events is also a concern. In this case we recommend only booking travel which has a clear refund/alternative ticket option and hotel accommodation with a no fee, full refund option. The BSOS cannot pay the cost of any ticket or hotel room.

What happens if you have to cancel a course?

If you have to cancel because you live/work in a Covid-19 restricted area and cannot travel we fully understand and will offer to roll over your place to a future course to suit you. Alternatively, if you prefer we will also honor our normal refund cancellation policy of a) in full if notified one month prior to the course b) 75% if notified between two weeks and one month prior to the course c) 50% if notified between two weeks and 5 working days prior to the course.
